The RAM 1500 Badlander adds visual appeal and dedicated off-roading goodies for all-show and more-go!

RAM makes some of the most pumped-up trucks out there. The RAM 1500 TRX raises the bar of performance trucks, and that is exactly why it bagged the HotCars Bet Pickup of 2021 tag. But if you are someone who wants something that slots right in between the sober RAM 1500 and its mental TRX iteration, then tuners can help.

And that brings us to the RAM 1500 Badlander which jacks up the standard 1500 with more confidence and visual appeal. The performance remains unchanged but the cool dudes at Tuscany Motors pump in more "badass" with off-road-ready tires, suspension, and body kit. And don't let the pleasing white paint job fool you into thinking this truck to have skipped the leg day!

The peeps at Tuscany Motor Co. have done a smart job of showcasing their RAM 1500 Badlander in a subtle white shade. It does a good job of humbling away from its beefy visual makeover and the scarier stuff that lies underneath. By the way, the "Badlanders" in the name is a reference to the Badlands area in South Dacota which is famed for putting off-roaders to the test. Even the Ford Bronco got inspired here.

The 2022 RAM 1500 Badlander gets a custom front bumper with an integrated 20-inch LED light bar. It also packs flared fenders, a reworked black mesh grille, and a custom hood with "Badlander" inlays. Complementing the jacked-up stance are chunky 20- or 22-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich T/A KM3 tires.

Thankfully every change here is not confined to "show". The RAM 1500 Badlander gets a notable suspension upgrade. The stock setup has been swapped for a full Fox Racing Shock kit with 2.5-inch Performance Series coilovers. This along with those beefy tires help raise the ride height by 6-inches. That's a lot of rock-climbing height!

The impressive part is that despite all the ruggedness on the outside, the RAM 1500 Badlander has a proper luxury appeal on the inside. The cabin is wrapped in custom leather and suede seats with "Badlander" imprints. It also gets a slew of carbon fiber interior trimming, leather door inserts, and a custom stainless steel theme for the digital part of the instrument cluster. Privacy is taken care of with tinted windows. Ingress and egress have been made easier with integrated power boards.

Tuscany Motor Co. has not fiddled with the already muscular powertrain setup that the standard RAM 1500 packs. The Badlander continues with the 5.7-Liter V8 that pumps out 395 HP and 410 lb-ft of torque. An 8-Speed ZF Automatic Transmission takes care of power delivery to all 4 wheels. But to align with the muscular stance, it gets a performance exhaust system with a raspier note.

Pricing hasn't been released, but Tuscany Motor Co. uses either the Big Horn or Laramie trims of the RAM 1500 for this transformation. Also, it comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
