There is a possibility for a further reduction in gas prices in November, Litro Gas Lanka said on Monday (24).

Litro Gas Lanka Chairman, Muditha Peiris said that the state-run gas supplier expects to settle its outstanding loans by end of December.  Camping Propane Tank

“Litro Gas paid Rs. 6.5 billion to the Treasury in September and has paid back another Rs. 7.5 billion in October,” he said.

Muditha Peiris said as world gas prices have also reduced, there is a possibility of a further reduction in gas prices in the first week of November.

Litro Gas Lanka last reduced the prices of its domestic gas cylinders on 05th October 2022.

At present, a 12.5 kg gas cylinder is being sold for Rs. 4280, a 5kg gas cylinder for Rs. 1720, and a 2.3kg gas cylinder for Rs. 800. (NewsWire)
