It’s been over a year since Vivo launched its first smartwatch, which brought a respectable specs sheet. Today, the company has officially unveiled the Vivo Watch 2 in China.

The second-generation wearable keeps the attractive circular face with a 1.43-inch 466 x 466 OLED display but simplifies the chunkier lines of its predecessor. The 46mm dial is wrapped within a 47-gram stainless steel body. 5ATM water resistance also features.

Internally, the Vivo Watch 2 includes eSIM support, which lets users in China receive calls and messages from their wrist independent of their smartphones. It also powers onboard music streaming smarts and Jovi voice commands. Users also get 2GB of onboard storage for offline music playback, NFC support, and built-in GPS. Vivo also claims the Watch 2 will last seven days between charges. That’s down from the original model’s 18 days.

In terms of health features, Vivo’s loaded the Watch 2 with 47 sport modes covering some of the more common activities, an SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen saturation monitoring, a heart-rate sensor, and sleep tracking smarts.

The latest smartwatch from a BBK brand isn’t quite gunning for the likes of Samsung, Apple, and Garmin. Instead, the Vivo Watch 2 keeps its predecessor’s 1,299 yuan (~$204) starting price. It’s available to preorder right now, but general sales kick off on December 29 in China. Colorways on offer include Breaking Dawn, Force Black, and Silver Wing.
